Bhinneka LEGO® Users Group (Bhinneka LUG) is a community of adults and families who enjoy building with LEGO®. Our Location is based in Jakarta and serves to support LEGO® hobby groups throughout the area.
Bhinneka itself is originally derived from a sanskrit word means Diversity, we took the name from our national trademark Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, meaning “Unity in Diversity” which we want our LUG’s soul to be.
Bhinneka LUG was founded on 29th December 2013 by adult fans of LEGO (AFOL) who love to make their own creation or MOC (My-Own-Creations).
Our primary goal is having fun building cool things with LEGO® and displaying our builds at public display to promote creation and creativity with LEGO®.
Bhinneka LUG holds gathering at least once per month to meet up and share our latest MOC builds, ideas, technique, discussing upcoming events and LEGO® related topic or just goofing around. One of our most awaited activity during the gathering is playing Parts Draft, which is totally amusing and brings a lots of laugh through out the game.
Most of our gathering are held at the Food Court Mall Taman Anggrek Jakarta on the third Sunday each month from 2 PM to 6 PM. Our Gathering are open for anyone both members and not, and we invite anyone to come and join us!
